You can tell which company made the tool based on the prefix of the model number on the older tools. Craftsman offers several table saws in varying sizes and prices to fit the needs of numerous customers. 1. 10-inch table saw with stand-This is the smallest model Sears offers in a table saw. This model has a smaller 13-amp motor. The stand is not portable and is to prevent wobbling. The miter gauge has preset stops for the most common angle cuts. Weighing 537 pounds, this model is not meant to be portable, but it is meant to be a heavier duty ripping saw. It comes complete with a miter, rip fence, and tilting arbor. Regular price is $1300. 5. 12-inch stationary table saw with wooden extension and tilt arbor-This model is similar to the previous heavier duty Sears table saw except that it has a 12-inch blade. Two versions are offered for your convenience: one has a left-tilt arbor, and the other has the right-tilt arbor. The tabletop is a little larger than the previous model, stretching out to 81"X30".
